The new edition retains the tried-and-tested structure of the lessons but has been fully updated. New features include an English-Thai vocabulary to go alongside the existing Thai-English vocabulary and a 'taking it further' section directing the reader to further sources of Thai - websites, books, etc.The language notes have been expanded and tightened, the exercises improved and more reading material in Thai script added. The page design has been improved and section headings given in English to make the course easier to use for the self-access learner. The accompanying recording has been increased to two CDs amounting to approximately 150 minutes of listening material. The book (0 340 86857 0) and CDs (0 340 86048 0) are also available separately. Alternatively, the recording is available on a double cassette which can be purchased on its own (0 340 86859 7) or in a pack with the book (0 340 86858 9).
